Meet a Muslim

Meet a Muslim

Kobe Roseman: What are you doing here today and why are you doing it?

Saud Iqbal: So we are part of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association. We are an international organization to spread peace and love and understanding all across the world through the passage of Islam. And we're out here to  answer any questions people might have on Islam and get rid of any questions people might have. You know, a lot of people have questions or doubts in their minds, but they just don't have anyone to ask because they've never met a Muslim before. There's a study out saying that over 60 percent of Americans have never met a Muslim. They don't have a Muslim friend. So we're trying to be that Muslim friend. We're trying to be that point of contact. To answer that question they might have. To get rid of that misconception they might have. So, anything we can do to help spread peace, love and understanding across — not just across Islam — but across all faiths. And just to get the love and understanding across the country is our main goal right now.
